Updated list of things I'm working on.
Things I'm Currently Working On:
-1 set of panda bears for 'egbonmi' *done
-1 carrot bunny brooch for 'owlonthesill' *done
- 1 polar bear for 'hdawnparratt'
- 1 set of panda bears for 'Misspitttypat'
- 1 owl for 'good4you'
- 1 mushroom bear, 1 owl, 1 rabbit, 1 small momo bear for 'paisleyandwillow'
Trying to work on these as fast as I can without 'rushing' them too much :) I still want them to look great, but arrive to you all within a reasonable amount of time. Bare with me as I complete your orders. This week has been super busy as my friend and I have been booking our flights for the winter holidays and working out where we will be staying, as well as spending some needed time with the bf and friends whom I haven't gotten to see in a really long time. Please do know that every chance I get to work on your orders, I'm really working hard on them until the early hours in the morning (for example, the last few nights I have been up until 5am o____O) hehe.
I will let you know once your orders have shipped, so please do look for them in the mail :)
It usually takes about 4 - 6 days to reach destinations in the US (although sometimes 1 week), and about 6 - 12 days to reach international destinations :) If you have any questions or concerns, do let me know, and I'll be happy to address them.
Hope you all will have a really great weekend.
There's much more to come so look forward to seeing new characters in my shop really soon :)
On a side note I recently sold 2 desktop wallpapers which feature my Mister polar bear ^^ If you are interested in using any of my 'product' photos as your desktop wallpaper, let me know and I'll be happy to make it for you in the resolution that you need :)

New photos.
New photos of mushroom bears and owl :) Really enjoyed making these. More mushroom bears (possibly including both in a set) will be available soon as well as a different colour owl :) Further descriptions will be posted later. For now enjoy some of the photos ^___^
The mushroom bears: 태견 (Taekyeon) and 지용 (Jiyong)
Everyone is familiar with Kai by now (I hope~) ^^
Once I've listed the Mushroom Bears in my Etsy Shop, please note that they will be made to order. Depending on whether or not the yarn colour is in stock at my local yarn store I may have to order the yarn which would take an extra 3 - 5 days (approximately) to reach me before I can start working on the bears. If the yarns are in stock in the store, then production time is quicker and you'll be able to receive your bears a lot sooner. Please take this possibility into consideration if you are interested in placing an order. There are other colours available. A list will be posted up on here soon. Please also note that the colours of the bears in the photos are the 'same colour' but different dye lot. Thus, the colour of the yarn I use for your bear, although it is the same colour, its shade may slightly differ due to variations in dye lots. But the colour difference is very minor :)
I'm always open to using different kinds of yarns/colours for the toys that I create so if you ever see something you like but would like it to be made slightly differently, please don't hesitate to contact me :) I welcome custom orders :)
* Note: the exact bears in the photos are not for sale. One is my original, and the bigger version has already been sold. They were used in my photos for demonstration purposes only ^^
If you are interested in my mushroom bear please check out my current listing for further information :)

Some cute owls and a mini carrot bunny.
I had a custom order for two owls recently. One owl was to be in its regular colour whereas the other was to be blue! I had a lot of fun making these two owls. I'm so happy with how they've turned out so I thought that I would share some photos :)
These owls feature rounder pupils which are bigger in size, needle felted eyes, and beak, and were knitted from my own pattern. They can stand on their own, and were stuffed with high quality polyester toy fiberfill which is non-allergenic :) If you'd like some owls for yourself, please check out my listing for Kai the sleepy owl :)
I also had a request from my sister to make her friend a birthday present. She wanted to give her friend a carrot bunny, and came up with the idea of using my brown yarn to create a chocolate carrot bunny :) I really love how this carrot bunny turned out and I'm thinking of using the height of this carrot bunny as the new standard height for all of my future carrot bunnies :)
This carrot bunny was crocheted with acrylic yarn using my own pattern. She features 6mm black plastic safety eyes, needle felted pink cheeks, and green crocheted cotton scarf. She also has a cute cotton tail as well :) One may be listed in my shop soon but if you have any requests for different colours please don't hesitate to ask me :)
More to come soon!
Things that I'm currently working on (and in the order that I will complete them in) :
-1 Large mushroom bear for Kia done*
-1 owl for Adam done*
-1 lamb for Sarah (to be mailed out with a cloud) done*
- 1 mushroom bear, 1 yuu-kii bunny, 1 kai the owl, and 1 small momo bear (custom order for Rosi; all items to be organic) ** This order will be completed at the same time that I work on the other orders ^^
I will cross out things from this list as they are completed and photos will be listed on my blog :) Sorry for any delays, I'm doing my best to complete these orders on time and with excellent quality :)

Major connection issues and internet problems galore.
Hey everyone, sorry for my absence. Our computer broke down last night, and we tried to take it apart this morning to fix it. However we had to order a spare part for the computer and until that arrives, our computer is inoperatable.
Luckly I have my laptop, but as luck would have it, our internet stopped working as well. So we are currently trying to fix that as well :( Everything has been super hectic~ So I may not be able to respond to your questions right away, but do know that I am working on your orders and they will ship out asap. I've written down everyones address who have currently ordered from me, but do expect a bit of a delay in receiving your order as I am extremely busy right now trying to fix all this computer stuff :(
Will update everyone again once I have a chance, and thanks for your patience... sorry for my rushed message, still need to fix our internet :(

Etsy chats + featured.
So during the last few days, I've been trying to figure out ways to get more exposure to my shop. I decided that I would try out the Etsy Chatroom! At first I found it so overwhelming, but after a while, I've started to get used to it. The people are super friendly and really funny and nice to talk to. It's such a good way to gain exposure, and it was a great way to discover all the amazing shops that make up the wonderful Etsy community. Haven't made a sale yet from visiting the chat room, but I have done quite a bit of networking, and got a lot of 'hearts' from people favouriting my shop. I don't think I've ever seen so many in such a short period of time (except for those days when I have had an advertising spot). The people have been super friendly, and great to talk to and chat with. They have also given me helpful and encouraging comments. It's really been quite a fun experience and I find myself visiting back more and more each day and seeing some familiar 'faces'. Some people have told me that they plan to buy some stuff from my shop when they have more funds, and that gets me super excited that they are actually liking the things that I've made with my two hands. It just shows me that some of this hard work is starting to pay off, and I'm super happy that it brings a smile to their faces :)
Other than exploring the chat room, I've been frantically trying to search up the cost of plane tickets to Seoul, South Korea (as a friend of mine and I plan on visiting our other friend who is currently in South Korea). It's been super hectic, and there are a lot of unknowns. She has to find out if her work will give her those days off, and I have to find out if my parents will let me go and travel with her (and if they'll help 'fund' my trip lol). Been trying to finish a couple of owls for one of my orders, a duck for my sister's friend's birthday present, and will soon have to start another polar bear, plus my organic order :) So many things to do and so very little time. I'm going to try to have a very productive day tomorrow!
Earlier on in the week people have been coming over to repair our water pipes, and water has been shut off and turned back on. I've had to wake up super early the last few nights and the lack of sleep seriously effected me. I kept increasing stitches where I wasn't suppose to, and having to fix things, that I should not have had to fix. So it's been going a bit slow on my part. But I should be fully rested by tomorrow and back to normal. I will try to wake up early so that I can finish these two owls and duck and get started on the other things that I need to do.
On a brighter note, 2 of my toys have been featured in two blogs recently:
PaisleyandWillow featured my Mushroom bear on her lovely blog. She goes on to write about how excited she is to receive an organic version for her shop :) And I'm super excited to make one for her :)
NewDominionBlues featured my Owls named Kai on their blog today, along with a whole slew of other cute owls, pottery, plants, birds ( a big whole earthy theme going on there ). I was really excited to hear that Tracy had featured my owls and that she thinks my stuff is really cute ^^
I hope everyone has a lovely week ahead of them, and thanks to everyone who have commented and who have told me that they really love my little creations :)

Quick update.
Just listed two more stationary note sets that are available for download. They are both an extension from my original Mushroom Bear stationary letter note set. But rather than containing all 8 different illustrations on 16 note pages (which my original full listing does) these two new listings contain half~
1) Mushroom Bear DIY Stationary Letter Note Set (Top Design) This set contains 8 pages with 4 different illustrations located at the top of the stationary :)
2) Mushroom Bear DIY Stationary Letter Note Set (Bottom Design) This set contains 8 pages with 4 different illustrations located at the bottom of the stationary.
The illustrations for the top half and bottom half are different from each other. These smaller sets sell for $5 USD each in my etsy shop. Or you could save $2 by buying the full set which comes with 2 bonus pages (all for $8 USD) :) The choice is up to you~
The full set contains all of my illustrations, so you will get 8 pages that have illustrations on the top, and 8 pages that have them on the bottom, PLUS two bonus 8.5" x 11" pages which feature a different illustration on each page as well :)
^ This photo shows all 8 illustrations, with the bottom illustrations shown at the top of the photo, and the top illustrations shown at the bottom of the photo (a little confusing I know, but that was the only way to take a photo of them all in one picture ^^ )

We've been featured.
I've brought some exciting news today (which I meant to post up a few days ago). y0omii was featured in 3 different blogs! Horray!! It was so exciting when I found out through the shop owners who had contacted me~
First up owlonthesill.com had featured my Mushroom Bear in her list of Friday Favourites. Among my mushroom bear Steph had also featured some really cool etsy shops! I love the shops that were featured: Kokopinto.etsy.com, blueberrybandit.etsy.com, mishibu.etsy.com, and gabizoidal.etsy.com.
Next, Jenny from JennyNDesign featured my cute pandas in her blog. It was really nice of her to take a photo of the pandas in their wrapping paper upon their arrival! I've always meant to take a photo of how I wrap my packages, and I'm so glad she included a photo! She was so nice to tell me about it, and I'm super happy that she loves my pandas!
And lastly, Melanie of Feltmeupdesigns featured both of my marching polar bears AND Aika the customizable kitty cat! I was so excited when she DM me on Twitter last night to tell me about it~ She had ordered a polar bear from me and I had included an extra one with a little birthday hat sewn on as my birthday present for her :) She had also ordered some polar bear buttons that I have in my shop as well ^^ And I'm so glad she likes my kitty~
Definitely stop by their etsy shops and see their awesomely crafted handmade goods ^^ They're all so talented! And I'm super happy they included me in their blogs :)
There have been some other shops that have included me in their blogs a while back. I will try to find those messages and post them on here later :)

Personal Stuff: my trip to MTZ 2009
So today (well Monday, since it is early Tuesday morning as I type this), I had a chance to visit the Metro Toronto Zoo. I was super excited to go, and so happy that PK suggested that we go today, since it was a holiday and he didn't have to go to work :) I was really excited to use my DSLR camera as well, since I haven't used it that much lately (except for taking photos of items for the shop). When we arrived, we originally planned on going to Stingray Bay to see the stingrays and sharks and pet them (yes, pet). But unfortunately, the line was SUPER long (and we thought that even if we lined up, we wouldn't be able to pet the stingrays). I remember petting them last year, and it was such an exciting experience, but one that was not new to me, since PK used to have smaller stingrays as pets, and I used to hand feed them when they were still pups ^^ ... truely adorable and fascinating creatures~
We ended up walking around and visiting the newer exhibits that were not open last year. I was SO excited to see the polar bears and elephants! I ended up taking so many photos today, of many different animals, but those two were my absolute favourite! When we first arrived where the polar bears were located, they looked very sleepy. Actually, two were taking a nap, while a third roamed around in the back (I was really sad when I wasn't able to take a photo of the third polar bear).
When we later came back, we saw that one of the sleepy polar bears had waken up and had walked around looking for some food. When we saw him, he was chewing on some grass, and later moved over to the water area, but didn't go for a swim, as I think he had gone for one much earlier when we were walking around elsewhere. He was quite playful, shy, and so adorable! At times he got so shy because many people were looking at him, that he decided to cover his face with his paws, and pretend that he was sleeping ^^ He's my favourite polar bear~
Before we saw the polar bears, we ran into the elephants. There were 3 (two of which were really close to us, and a third which was situated further away). I was able to take a few photos, although I did get some sand in my eye because the closest one was blowing dirt around. Nevertheless, they are still amazing animals to see up close :)
I absolutely love going to the zoo whenever I have a chance! I really want to come in the winter to see the polar bears again. And I'm hoping penguins too! Wish that we had some panda bears, but we don't~
Here are some more photos from my day :) I have SO much more, but I cannot possibly upload all of them lol.
^ Definitely one of my favourite photos
^ My very first close up shot of a butterfly :)
^ I actually saw some flamingos fighting, and have a photo, but didn't upload it~
Don't you just love animals? These are just some of my favourite photos that I've taken today. What animals do you like? I definitely love the elephants, the polar bears, pandas, jaguar, etc :) I haven't edited any of these photos, since I haven't had any time to, but I think they look pretty fine just the way they are :)

Introducing: Mushroom Bear Stationary Letter Note Set
My new stationary letter note set is finished, and is now posted in my Etsy Shop. You may access it HERE :)
This stationary letter note set features 8 unique and adorable mushroom bear designs, which fill up 8 pages. There are 2 note designs on each page and you will therefore be receiving 16 pages of stationary! But of course you may print out as many as you wish).
Inspired by my mushroom bear, this stationary letter note set features Jiyong the mushroom bear traveling around with his little brother Wooyong, in search of delicious and colourful mushrooms! Before heading to the mushroom forest, little Wooyong found a super cute red balloon, but had left it at home because he didn't want to lose it~
This adorable stationary letter note set was created with ultimate cuteness and 'saving ink' in mind. The designs are simple, and the use of ink minimal. Each set has a white background and a very light blue boarder. Some pages are lined, and some are unlined, giving you some variety.
They can be used for writing letters to loved ones, jotting down notes, doodling -- the possibilities are endless!
